  1. Use the Server Configuration dialog box to set up a Macintosh as a Public Contact Server.

  4. Server Name field: Type a name for the Server. A name that describes the Server's primary use is best, such as "Marketing Contacts Server."

  6. Admin Password field: Type a password. This password allows you to restrict access to the Public Contact Server application, and ensures that only those users who know the password can change Server settings.

  8. Create Password field: Type a password. This password allows you and any other users who know it to create Public Categories on the Server.

  10. Backup File button: Click to specify a backup file for the Server database. You can enter a name for the backup file and select its location, or you can accept the default name and location.
